That was another Mel G flick. When I was watching this I wondered why Mel choose this cuz it's so similsr.

Apparently he's none too fond of the Brits.

I think his hatred of the brits came from his granny telling him stories about them and the crimes to humanity they commited all over the world

Well, in both films, the movie doesn't officially begin until Mel gets pissed off. And how they're both fighting the English helps
