who's the killer?

Sorry guys. I've missed the ending. Please tell me who the killer is? In the beginning of the movie, Ray is arrested as suspect and he is held for 10 years in prison. Then (when the murders begin again) we see only the killer's back (in jail's uniform). It's obvious that Ray is not the actual killer. Who is the killer really??? Thanks.

Ana Faris dies.....the best death I believe...and so far there's no sequel. But I didn`t get the end...there ANOTHER KILLER, the one in the ambulance.

There's actually three killers. Sarah Lancaster's character (the bitchy blonde), her father (the Dr) and the original "Lovers Lane" killer. Whilst the father and bitchy daughter did most of the killings together (she even says so), I believe the cop who died in the gas station was killed by the escaped lunatic. He also presumably kills the two leads at the end in the police car.

You're either playing dumb, or it's not an act.

There are three killers;

1.) Dr. Jack Grefe (Chloe's father) - he commits the majority of the murders.
2.) Chloe - she kills Janelle (the cheerleader played by Anna Faris) and Doug (whom she stabs while he's lying helpless on the table).
3.) Ray Hennesey - framed by Dr. Grefe for the murders committed thirteen years ago, he escapes from the asylum, apparently killing an orderly in the process (the orderly is seen lying in a pool of blood, but his death is never actually confirmed). Hennesey later breaks into Dr. Grefe's house and kills his dog (the sheriff finds the dog's severed head in the doctor's fridge), before heading out to Lover's Lane and killing Chloe.

There are two murders - the convenience store worker and the deputy - for which it's never definitely confirmed if Dr. Grefe was responsible, or whether it was Ray Hennesey. However, evidence would suggest it was Ray: the killer doesn't acknowledge Chloe when she walks past (which her father surely would have done), plus after killing the deputy, the killer takes his patrol vehicle - and Ray appears at the end of the film driving an identical vehicle.
