Release date wrong.

I've seen the release date listed as 1973 both here and other places. First off, considering Lee died in '73, they would have really had to rush this one out for a release date that year. Not to mention all those Bruce Li, Le and Dragon Lee film cilps would have had to been shot when Bruce Lee was still alive.

The other big clue I have is the music that is looped through out the film. It's "Devil's Gun" by CJ & Co. and it wasn't released until 1977. I'm guessing '77 is the right year. I've seen other sites list this as well.

I bought a martial arts compilation (3 discs) called Martial Arts Masters (Bruce Lee/ Sonny Chiba). On disc 1 this movie is found. The date on the back cover of the case states the date as 1979.

Pick this up at walmart if you can. Good deal for 5 bucks.

you're probably correct about the date. i vaguely recall seeing advertisements for this flick in nineteen seventy seven or seventy eight. and at the time it was being presented as a "new" film........................

- 1973
- 1977
- 1979

It's pretty damn annoying in a way...

i'd say nineteen seventy seven. seventy three is too early. by nineteen seventy nine the bruceploitation craze had pretty much ended. seventy seven seems right, especially in view of the fact that (as i said in an earlier post) i recall seeing advertisements for the film in nineteen seventy seven or eight. and at that time the production was being advertised as "all new."
