Samus' big secret (possible spoiler)

Ok, by now I'm sure that most people are quite aware that Samua Aran is infact a woman. However, for that minority out there that still my not know I had to put the spoiler warning.

Anyway, I got this game for Christmas when I was twelve years old and it quickly became a favorite of my friends and myself. However, I had one friend, about one year older than me (13), who just never could grasp the concept that Samus Aran was and always had been a woman. I remember one day he was playing through the game for about 22nd time and when he beat it he said "Man, what do you have to do to get a GOOD ending?" I was confused since he had recieved the full-body swimsuit ending so I replied. "What? That is a good ending." to which he replied tartly "Well, I don't see how getting a sex-change can be considered a good ending." I attempted to explain to him that Samus always had been a woman but that you couldn't tell because of the armor and helmet but he only replied, "But how can it be a woman now when it was a man before?" I tried to explain it a few more times but it was hopeless. It was kind of weird because the guy was by no means stupid. There was just some sexist part of his brain that couldn't accept that the protagonist of one of his favorite game was a woman. Anyway that is just a funny story that I thought I would pass on to some of you Metroid fans. I hope you enjoyed it.

Wow...that's hilarious. If that would of happened around me..I would of grabbed the NES and smashed it over his head for being retarded. On second thought..why waste a perfectly good console, I just would of used a controller..or maybe the power glove! Anywho, funny post!!

EDIT: Oh, and by the way..some people might consider getting a sex change a good ending. :p

Well, I had recieved the Delux Set which came with the zapper and R.O.B. the robot. Prehaps I should have smashed R.O.B. over his head. It would have been the first time that thing had been usefull for anything.

LOL!

Monk should go back to the old writers.

What?!?!?!?!?!?! Samus is a woman!?!?!??!?!?!?!?! Ok, I'm kidding, I wasn't even born when this game was out, but I do know that Samus is a woman, as I'm an avid Metroid fan, and bothered to go back and play the original.

I don't have a library card, but do you mind if I check you out.

Samus Aran is a woman...and a sexy woman, too! She looks robust and comely in Metroid: Other M. Her hair color has been changed from green to blonde.

Hip Tanaka's Metroid music is a classic.
