Whoever conceptualized the flying medusa heads, in my WILDEST dreams I would *beep* castrate you!

Those have to be the most annoying enemies in a game ever. UGH!!!

Right up there with the hawks in Ninja Gaiden, any flying enemy is terrible.

Try not to take life too seriously, no one gets out alive.

Yep. The NES was notorious for these kinds of enemies. I recall Mega Man had alot of them, too.

It's a sad thing that your adventures have ended here

Grrr . I slammed more controllers because of those stupid things. The Medusa heads are a close 2nd, though.

Indeed. However, I don't think they're the most annoying ever. I can handle them. The game Street Fighter 2010 (also on NES), for instance, consists SOLELY of more annoying enemies. God I hate that game. It's very good, but much too unfair. Total controller-throwing title.

And as others have mentioned, the birds in Ninja Gaiden... God. Frustrating at best, insanity-inducing at worst.
