That was bad!

Nearly all the actors were in only one movie! This was it for them! I can't believe it was made as late as 1984. It looked like a bad 50's horror flick.

Not sure what's up with the 1984 date on imdb.

The credits say it was 1973.

Cheers...

I thought the credits said 1983. Filming dates on here say 1983, and the original video release date was 1986. It sure did look older though. And the music! It was straight out of a 50s movie I swear.

Agreed! The movie had the feel of a late sixties/early seventies horror film. I think it was made before the eighties and the director just titled and added some footage and then released it in the eighties.

Yeah, apparently starring in an Andy Milligan movie was the quickest way for an actor to commit career suicide.

Yes, many of the actors and actresses that appeared in that film were employed by Andy Milligan at his West 39th Street theater at the time which was called Troupe Theater, a seedy but fun off-off Broadway venture. I heard it was a real decrepit broken-down theater in a bad part of Manhattan at the time.

Of the actors, look for Dennis Malvasi (credited as Albert Alfano), who later became a notorious anti-abortion terrorist. He is first seen 52 minutes into the film as Tony, a friend of the Hendersons, who is driving up to the haunted house with his girlfriend to spend the night. (Malvasi was the only one of the cast and crew who owned and knew how to drive a car. The car that he pulls up in really was owned by him). Aside from some ad libs, his best line is: "Ann, you all right? You look like you've seen a ghost".
