I would say that the coolset part of Little Nicky was at the end where it showed the little clips of Nickys friends and families. Well the part is where Reese Whiterspoon jumpy and all happy then it pauses and said the husband married the Blair Witch, and Nickys mom Reese met an aroebics instructor, Chris Farley. Nice One.

I laughed when I saw that. But it was very sad.He was a funny man.He lost his life way too early.

It marks the only time I have ever shed a tear at a movie theater. I remember when I saw that, I just couldn't help it, I thought it was a sweet and loving gesture to a funny guy whom we lost WAY WAY WAY too early.

You know I had no freeking clue what the hell you were talking about... Farley is spelled wrong as in Chris Farley ... farely... what the hell is a farely? And ref? dana carvy is a ref in the movie so this just made everything confusing. If you would have spelled Farley correctly and just spelled out reference instead of being lazy maybe people would have understood what the hell you where talking about.

"Farley reference"... see? easy.

^^^ exactly i still had no idea wut you were talking about until this guy cleared it up

Heh.. when I saw the thread's name it just confused me... "How the hell did Whitey the Referee make somebody cry?" But yes, it depressed me when I saw Chris at the end. He was an amazing talent. =/ Poor man.

C'mon Mikey, make me feel like a woman! Give me a nice wet lickery kiss!

I'm no rocket scientist, but I undestood perfectly what the poster mispelled and abreviated. Hmm, what does that say about you?

You can't go on blaming yourself forever. Just blame yourself once, then move on.

I cried too; I've only just seen the film (took my time, I know), and had heard about the reference but forgot, and it took me by surprise. It was so sad, but such a sweet gesture I thought. RIP Chris

I can't say I cried, but I thought it was a good way to pay tribute to a late friend.

"Is the hot tea hot or cold?"
"Is the tea iced tea?"
"No, it's HOT tea!"
"Then I have no idea!"

reply

"crying over a dead comedian makes you an idiot" ...it saddens me, some people really have no respect at all. You start losing faith in the public when you see stuff like that. RIP Chris

Yeah that was perfect and incredibly sad at the same time.

I will always miss Chris Farley.

AND... I will always love and respect Adam Sandler for being a true friend... not just to Chris, but to the Farley family.

Sandler deserves so much credit for how loyal he is to his friends. I cant praise him enough. Just look at the cast of people he continually works with, writes with...

The work is fun, but its clear that the people around him, and the experience, friendship and quality things really matter to him. It must be a hell of a fun working environment.

Thanks for being cool Sandman. You're all heart and laughs...

cant wait for the next project.

I just watched this movie for the first time and had pretty much the same reaction. It really was a great epitaph.

reply

That got me too. I can't think of a better way for Adam to honor his friend than to make him an aerobics instructor in Heaven.

reply

Farley was only funny because he used the "I'm fat and crazy" thing done much better and with more sophistication by Belushi. He would never had the career of Candy if he lived. It is sad he died so young and alone though.
