I feel really bad for saying this...

First, I just want to say that I'm not the biggest fan of Adam Sandler, but I have seen quite a lot of his movies now. The first movie I saw was Mr. Deeds at the age of ten, and for the longest time, it was my favourite. (Partly because it introduced me to one of my favourite actresses Winona Ryder.) Until tonight. When I watched THIS movie. I had never giggled so much at Adam Sandler; I absolutely enjoyed it all the way through! And the "twist" with Nicky's mother; that was actually a good twist, I didn't expect that. Sigh...I don't know. Maybe I don't know what a good movie is, but yeah. Mr. Deeds is no longer my favourite Sandler film. *shrug*

Good for you. Enjoy what you like.

Straightedge means I'm better than you.

Straightedge means you are better then me huh. Rofl. You understand there are health benefits to some alcohol and drugs. You also eat synthetic whether you dont know it not. Straight edge is a marketing ploy my friend. Get over it. You can rat healthy, not do drugs and take care of yourself without acting like you are better than everyone

Yeah don't feel bad, I went into this movie thinking it would be total crap and a waste of my time. I ended up watching it all and laughing my ass off throughout the whole thing! It's not a good movie by any means, but the laughs were genuine, and thats all that matters.

.. I am, in a word, terse.

DVD has tons of funny Extra Features.

Adam Sandler has a lot of fans that feel as you do. I find his films silly and sometimes fun. A good movie is one that makes you laugh, cry, think, feel good, and even feel mad or sad. Most important he is your choice!

I've always really enjoyed this film. I have a soft-spot for it for helping me get through an awful 2-week long illness that left me bed-ridden and barely able to even move when I was 12.

This film and Frequency (really great, underrated film) were on one of the premium channels at the time. They had both just premiered, so they were showing multiple times a day, every day. I would more-or-less sleep until one of them were on, get up and watch it while snacking on Jello and soup, then go back to sleep until one of them were on again. For some reason this one in particular was just a very fun, easy watch that made me feel a lot better when I was sick. It was probably just distracting me from my illness, but I didn't mind.

And FURTHERMORE, this is my signature! SERIOUSLY! Did you think I was still talking about my point?
