Renee as Cher is the best impersonation I have ever seen - she is amazing!

For the early songs, such as when Cher is singing in the house, did they get the real cher to sing that and dub the actress. I thought this part sounded more like cher post nose job (i.e. now) than Cher pre nose job like on I GOT YOU BABE. anyone know?

I think Renee sang her first attempt by herself and the second attempt, after her voice cracked, was the real Sonny and Cher, dubbed in.

If you look at the cast list it says Kelly van Hoose Smith played "Cher (singing voice)."

i remember Renee in a TV interview before the movie came on and even in the interview she acted just like Cher, same mannerisms and everything

I agree Bob, she really is the spitting image of Cher in looks as well as mannerisms!

Renee Faia made a good Cher. She was very convincing. And she is a Cher lookalike too. I always say casting lookalikes are important when making a biopic.
