What was the deal with the dog?
Sapic was his name, I believe. Penelope Cruz calls him and an old man follows and asks her how old and tall she is. Who was that man? Her dad? Why didnt he know her but she knew his dog?

I found it to be quite funny actually. Interesting how people can react differently to certain scenes. I can also see why someone would find it emotional as well.
By far my favorite scene in an other wise mostly mediocre film, definitely not Almodovar's best.
