'Things That Repeat'

On a recent episode on $25k (coulda been $100k) Pyramid, they were trying to get to the top of the pyramid and the answer was "THINGS THAT REPEAT". At some point the clue giver said "cucumbers" and "radishes" .. of which the audience burst out in laughter. Maybe I'm missing something here, but what do cucumbers and radishes have to do with things that "repeat"?

I think "repeat" means burp, and I know that cucumbers have that effect.
