I love to complain, but even I don't get why this movie is so dissed

There are movies that are clearly trying to illuminate the *beep* human condition or something, and then there are movies made by people that understand that the human condition can sometimes suck, and want to give us a bit of a diversion. This is one of those, and I like it for that.

This movie has become a punchline to the extent that even Matt and Ben referred to it in Jay and silent Bob. I don't agree.

It's a popcorn movie, and a good one. There's a setup, then something something, plot twist. Followed by more, end with cool Santa scene.

Ben Affleck has so delivered on all his cinematic promises, so we really need to put down the torches on this one.

An opinion, but I feel a valid one.

I don't remember the Jay and Silent Bob reference. What was it? I saw this film years ago and I always thought it was called Deception. Only just found out it was called Reindeer Games when I was thinking about Xmas related films. I think it's a good old easy to watch movie. Added bonus is Chalize Theron!

Merry Xmas.

In the Jay and Silent Bob movie Ben Affleck and Matt Damon star as themselves while making Good Will Hunting 2 and there's a throwaway lines where Matt complains to Ben about it being a bad "safe" picture.

I remember liking it, I've seen utter garbage get higher ratings on here. Maybe it's just the snobs who have rated this?

Blocking anyone subscribing to the moronic alpha/beta tripe.

Always worth coming back to every few Christmases, after you've forgotten the twists.🐭

I've been putting off watching this because I kept hearing how bad it was but I actually loved it. I saw it more as a comedy than an action/thriller, even if that isn't what it was meant to be. It IS bad but in a really entertaining way and the plot twists genuinely surprised me, which doesn't happen very often.

The movie is dissed just because it has a crazy (though fun) premise and because it didn't do well with either the critics or the box office and people assume that means it's bad.

It's kinda cool to watch Charlize get pumped in the raw and Affleck get the *beep* kicked out of him.
