well its not one of the best movies, but i think it really deserves a dvd release. somehow i really like it.

sharewasn't a horrible movie at all really. just saw it this weekend, and thought it was ok. not so great effects, and the acting could've been better, but it was entertaining.
enjoyed the non-hollywood-esque ending as well. wasn't expecting that.

I agree. I saw it a few years ago and all I really remember is how much I liked the ending. I figured "Ok, at the end they'll find a cure or something and end up 'together' like most other movies like this. But no. They end up heading suicidally towards the sun without ever confessing their undying love for eachother or anything. Hooray!
I bet they did confess their undying love for each other in the end. We just don't get to see it. But then, everyone deserves a moment of genuine privacy. I just hope that the virus did not get to them again before they reached the sun and that they did not become homicidal toward each other again. I think that would have been far more torturous for their real minds and feelings than it would be for them to both die from plunging into the sun or from the suicide pills.
I would love to see a DVD of this, especially if it included deleted scenes and cast commentary. that would be awesome!!
