most horrible scene ever!!

although it was incredible funny, the sight of ross and pauline rutting on the sofa was truly one of the most awful things i've seen on this show. the sounds!

Really? I thought it was hot!

I mean, all that sexual tension between Pauline and Ross had been so strong in the other seasons and when it came to ross and pauline in his apartment, with Ross just in a bathrobe, I just said to myself. Oh my god! just *beep* him already!

Besides, Reece Shearsmith was so hot in that role.

By all accounts the league when writing that scene found it to be hilarious, but when finally seeing it on screen they realised how horrible and vulgar it was... It certainly took me aback when watching it 9 years ago.

I know what you mean OP. I get that it was referencing 'American Psycho' with Ross's apartment looking similar to Patrick Bateman's (which is a movie I love by the way). But every so often that image just pops in my head and I have to shake it away. Damn those brilliant bastards, damn them to hell!

Call me crazy but I want at least a taste of heaven, before an eternity of hell.

@jagheterjack00: I don't remember anything about them saying it was "horrible and vulgar". On the commentary they (or to be more precise Steve Pemberton) say that it was one of those scenes which looked great on paper but was horrible to shoot (he didn't feel comfortable bending over with Reece behind him). But they say it was necessary as it's part of Ross' revenge, while Pauline really feels attracted to him although they're "enemies" (which isn't that unusal).

I felt mor like samdevil about this scene. I think it's hot (or at least Ross is ;-) ).

I agree with BrunoBoncoJones about Dr. Chinnery. Especially the scene with the cow freaked me out. IMHO this was the most horrible scene ever!

Ross is so hot, you can see why even a lesbian with a pen obsession is attracted to him.

Noone I think is in my tree, I mean it must be high or low

The worst scenes for me was anytime the Vet was on screen, if only because I knew something horrible was about to happen. I would brace myself anytime he started to do something, and try to guess how he was going to kill the pet this time, and every time it would still get me.

was very funny , esp her awkwardness afterwards . I think the most awful scene , it was only a short bit , where a guy is about to get sick , and it cuts to father of the shop putting noodles on a plate

To me, it was definitely the best scene of the whole series!!! I have a slight obsession with Reece (as many others do with good reason-fantastic actor!!) I thought it was just me who was massively attracted to him as Ross, I can't put my finger on what it is.....maybe the glasses?!

I definitely wouldn't object to an afternoon with him on the sofa!! :)

I just saw that scene yesterday and I came to IMDB to comment (to say how WRONG it was (but also so FUNNY!)) and I guess I shouldn't have been surprised to find a whole thread devoted to that scene.
