Why were the Eds so repulsed by the Kanker sisters?

Okay I'll admit, they were trailer trash and they are a destructive bunch, but if they actually got into a relationship with them it would come with its benefits, like for instance becuase of their combined strength they would get everybody to cough up their money to give to them and the Eds' would be swimming in Jawbreakers. Not only that but they'd be totally untouchable, minus, well for May, Marie, and Lee... Not only that, but think about it, how many other girls live in the cul-de-sac other than Nazz? These girls want them, take what you've got...

Looking at how they are drawn/behave, the Kanker sisters look pretty gross. I mean they most likely smell awful, and their teeth are all yellow and gross, except May. Either way, whoever said they are the only other girls in the cul de sac was pretty much right. Nazz looks like she is into Kevin, so I'd probably say that Ed, Edd, and Eddy should be hitting up the sisters.

may, the blonde kanka isnt that bad, nor is marie, lee's hair spoils her though.
But in akll, the edds are still kids and the whole "cooties" things with kids, that's why they run from them. The kankas on the other really do care about them, hence in the movie, they even tied up the kids chasing after them to stop them being hurt.

Agreed. There's always that one kid in the community that stinks and is completely inappropriate and obnoxious. And whether it's warranted or not, there's always that one admirer of the opposite gender that you think is gross when you're young.

Marie's totally hot, though.

At least in the "Fistful of Ed" episode Eddy who is usually scared of the sisters stood up to them in the end after they were missing with Double D!

That's what I've always wondered as well. Sure, they're trailer trash and really pushy. And I can understand that Eddy doesn't find Lee attractive enough. But I think Marie is rather cool, even though she would have to tone down her mean streak to be suitable as Double D's girlfriend. And I remember several episodes, where Ed actually seems to like May.

Which episodes were that? All I remember is Ed running away for his life after seeing May.

I don't remember the exact names of all the episodes anymore, but I remember three examples.

1: In one early episode, the Eds set up a wrestling match, and the Kankers come around and beat them up. Ed however seems to like the treatment, that they get from them.

2: In the episode, where the Kankers "get married" to the Eds, Ed again doesn't seem to mind what's going on.

3: In the episode, where the Eds try to get rid of the Kankers through reverse psychology, Ed seems to be rather pleased when the plan backfires and May pulls him away towards her.

1. Ed is an idiot, his responses to certain things and situations aren't always the appropriate responses. He's also used to more pain. Plus, he still had some Chunky Puffs.

2. Again, Ed's an idiot.

3. Ed still thought they had The Kankers in their grasp. Watch the episode again at the end Ed is as freaked out as Edd and Eddy.

I don't know about that, in the Valentine's day episode Ed kept trying to hide or run away whenever he saw The Kankers, particularly May.

Ed was also running away like bloody murder in the last episode "A Fistful of Ed" when The Kankers came barging in the science lab. Might want to youtube these.
