I never understood this about Nazz...

...In most episodes she tends to act friendly towards The Eds - Allows them at her parties, gives them snacks, and, usually with Double D, does some favors for them. She also, in a blue moon, come to their defense.

But in OTHER episodes she partakes in making fun of them, like in Your Ed Here and All Eds Are Off, like she really wants to see them fail and fall lower in the social circle in the Cul-De-Sac. Usually, this is when she's around Kevin and it's been suggested throughout the series, especially in Big Picture Show, that she has a crush on him, but some of the nice stuff she's done for The Eds have been when he's around so what's with that?

I know The Eds did a lot of bad stuff to the kids in The neighborhood and what not but even so she seemed to cool off pretty quickly, much moreso than the other kids did.

I felt that all the times she makes fun of them it is because its the "cool thing" to do. She usually does it when the other kids are making fun of the Eds. Especially when Kevin is in the picture. Other than that, I believe that Nazz is the one kid that is cool with the Eds the most. She doesn't shun them unless they cross a line they shouldn't. Although even with Kevin she seems to make fun of too. Especially when he is acting like an extra jerk or only talking about himself.

Don't forget "Smile for the Ed". That was probably her at her worst. Although I do ship her and Eddy. 

Don't steal; the government hates competition.

Nazz seemed to only bully the Eds if the other cul-de-sac kids were torturing them. Or if they cross the line with her with one of their scams. It never made sense to me though how some of the kids like Nazz and Kevin tolerated Johnny and Jimmy, but constantly shunned and tortured the Eds. Johnny is more weird than Ed is and Sarah and Jimmy are more obnoxious than Eddy. And Double D almost never deserves the torture. Fortunately, Nazz is probably the most understanding towards the Eds. And there are times that she gets annoyed with Kevin and messes with him.

Somebody decided at some point that the Eds are the neighborhood "dorks", and Jonny (no matter how weird he is) and Jimmy (no matter how wimpy he is) aren't. Bullying will often not make sense, I'm afraid, even though I can understand that Eddy annoys the other kids with his neverending scams, and Ed and Double D have just become "guilty" by association. But yes, Nazz seems to be nice to the Eds most of the time (she allowed them to stay at a party after they crashed it and invited them to another party). And even a total jerk like Kevin can have friendly conversations with Double D some times.

That "someday" are the writers of this show. Then again, we cannot break the magic and so we must find an explanation as the events play out in the series.
