Ren was always my number one favorite. For some reason he reminded me of Ren off of Ren and Stimpy.

My other favorites are the kanker sisters.

My rankings with comments:

1. Edd - Probably the most reasonable character on the whole show. It's really a shame he gets shunned by the other cul-de-sac kids. He's probably the most normal out of all of them. I guess he's guilty by association because he hangs out with Eddy and Ed. It seems like the other cul-de-sac kids know that Double D isn't trouble like the other two, but they still seem to punish him even though it's usually Ed and Eddy that make them mad. Honestly, he's a good match for the Eds because he's too good for the rest of the cul-de-sac.

2. Rolf - I love his one-liners and crazy cultural customs. Rolf's character never bores me whenever he's on the screen. He's also one of the few characters that is fair to the Eds also.

3. Ed - Nothing to say about Ed except he's lovable with his wacky lines and crazy habits. Just like Rolf, Ed's character always adds humor to the screen. And there are very few times where you can hate him. Fun character and I would hang out with him over the other cul-de-sac kids.

4. Eddy - I want to like Eddy's character more, but he can be very unlikable in the later seasons. Especially when he puts making money over the demise of his friends. It makes you wonder how he has any friends at all. i think the best part of his character is that he always tries to redeem himself when he crosses a line. At the end of the day, he will never abandon his friends no matter how much his head is stuck up his ass.

5. Nazz - She's probably the most boring character on the show because she's mainly eye candy for the rest of the cul-de-sac boys. It wasn't until the last season where she was given the "dumb blonde" personality". With that being said, she was probably the most fair towards the Eds. She never really bullied them unless they crossed the line. Although she was unlikable sometimes when she's around Kevin. But even then, there's times she found Kevin to be lame.

6. Johnny - I use to like his character in the past, but on subsequent watches his character is pretty obnoxious. It might because in some episodes he crossed the line with the Eds by sabotaging their scams even though they never did anything to him. It also confuses me how the cul-de-sac kids can tolerate Johnny, but shun Ed whose just as weird as Johnny. The most satisfying part is to see him get beaten up at the end of the movie.

7. Kankers - I actually like the Kanker Sisters as individual characters. I dislike how they torture the Eds though when they're already picked on by the other kids in the cul-de-sac. And they cross the line a lot with their affection towards them. I know it's a cartoon, but damn they're way too "touchy feely" towards the Eds.

8. Kevin - I hate this character, but to be fair that's the point of his character. And there are times he has a right to have beef with the Eds (well, mostly Eddy). But most of the time, he's the first person that gives the Eds crap. I especially hate when he sabotages the Eds when they don't bother him at all. Like in the episode where Eddy was trying to take a nice picture for his mom, and Kevin ruins it for no reason. And his beef should mostly be with Eddy, as the other two only seem to be guilty by association.

9. Jimmy - I will never understand how the cul-de-sac kids can tolerate Jimmy and Sarah over the Eds. Jimmy is so whiny and pathetic. He only cares about Sarah and if any of the other kids harm him, whether it be the Eds or Kevin's group, he would go cry to her. When he's not around Sarah though, he is... okay. And he can be nice to the Eds sometimes too. Other than that, he is friggin annoying.

10. Sarah - Such an insufferable character. I don't know how ANY of the cul-de-sac kids can stand her. There's nothing redeemable about her at all. I can't think of one moment I like about her. Eddy at his worst is still more tolerable than Sarah was in the entire history of the show.

Rolf. Mostly because he is like the Apu (The Simpsons) or Kumar (Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle) of the series.
