Had I seen this film for free......I still would have felt cheated.
It's definitely worth seeing -- very dysfunctional

writing is certainly dysfunctional, I'll give you that.
and much darker than any other "bomb" propaganda films of this era that I've seen.
If this was meant as a "bomb propaganda" film (rather than pure entertainment) I'm sure it backfired horribly.
I don't think anyone was anxious to place themselves under the control of a so-called "authority figure" after seeing this movie. Let's face it: that cop was a
total nincompoop.
Personally, I would have asked to borrow his service revolver (or, more likely, jumped him and taken it from him) and topped myself there and then so that I would not have to spend two weeks locked up with someone
that stupid.
I think you'll find that most shelters have some sort of filtered ventilation system. You know, so air can get in and out of the shelter so you don't, um, suffocate after a few days. Which makes the idea of hermetically sealing
yourself (let alone a small group) in a truck for two weeks one of the most boneheaded ideas I've ever heard.
