Holy crap, that's the same woman. I hadn't even realized that until I read this. Obviously she looks totally different in the movies.

Wow. I can't believe that either. It is actually a nice change of pace to see a woman in her thirties getting such a good opportunity and recognition in the business.
The amount of actors who went on to have major successes and get opportunities after "A Knight's Tale" is just incredible honestly (Mark Addy, Paul Bettany, James Purefoy, etc.). I'm not implying the movie is solely responsible, if at all in some cases, but it is certain a cool coincidence.
To me, she looked like a really young Angelina Jolie the 1st time I noticed her, had to check IMDB to find out. Wrong as usual!

Very much agree. It really was a top line cast with real depth deep into the list.
