HOW WAS THE BUDGET 13MIL

Still - Could be a really good candidate for a remake in the future.

I quite Enjoy this movie....

I wanted to see it in theaters, But couldnt, instead bought it when it came out on DVD....

good movie

reply

Hence why I say could be a good remake. It doesn't look like it had a 13 million dollar budget. Makes no sense

Are there even phone booths like this anymore? Not in my town.

reply

I assume you mean because it essentially took place in one location.

But the logistics of filming a movie like this are still very complex.

There will be multiple cameras used, if its filmed on a real street getting permission to close streets in a city is expensive.

If its filmed on a set designed to look like a street, thats horrendously expensive to make and to film

And we have not even factored in the actors salaries, publicity costs, transportation costs, catering.

So many hidden costs in making a movie.

Everyone took pay cuts...

reply

I think so.

It had to do with the risks of the theme and also back in the day when people made films cause they actually cared about the source and not for the money.

reply

THE PHONE BOOTH ALONE COST 10 MILLION

reply

Colin Farrel at least got $2.99999 million. Everything else was $10.

A remake?

reply

do you not know what a remake is?

reply

In fact I do, thank you for asking. But I don't see why this needs a remake.
