Anyone know where in LA some of those exteriors were filmed?

I always assumed that the third portion of This Town picks up across the street from the DWP building seen in the first portion of the number. Maybe around the Taper. But on closer examination, that's not the spot, or at least not any part of the complex that I'm familiar with...
