Locked in Silence

This movie was really good and Marc Donato did a great performance for playing the role of Stephen Cline especially with it being based on a true story. In the movie I really felt sorry for Stephen because he was almost like an outsider to everyone, including members of his own family but when it came to the point that Stephen discovers the teenager's body in the river and is unaware that his older brother John was hiding nearby, he chases after Stephen, then threatens him to shut up and that's when Stephen's silence starts to develop and this leads him into a dark and dangerous path. Even though the Sheriff was the main antagonist in all of this, John was a type of antagonist in some way because of the way he was controlling his younger brother's voice and Stephen became the target of some sort of strange psychological abuse and is even accused of being the one at fault in everything and he had no one to turn to, all because he was scared of his brother and the Sheriff and is so afraid to speak up what happened in front of anyone which was really heartbreaking to view. Also I thought the ending was a little disappointing because even though John didn't kill the teenager he didn't even get slightly punished for making a part of Stephen's life hell but overall the movie was great and I loved it.
