Dreadful

This was absolutely the worst movie, with the worst acting, I have ever seen.

You are looking for THE CULT aka MANSON MASSACRE, which infested U.S. drive-ins back in the late 1970s. It's available from various dealers online, under the MANSON MASSACRE title, in a German-language version. Uschi Digard is in it, which is the best thing that can be said for it.

I will agree that the story could've used a bit of work. The first half was just random rock and roll concert footage with people getting naked and acting strange. And none of the characters are named. If you aren't familiar with the murders beforehand there's no way you'll be able to determine what's going on.

But I do like the way the film is shot. It feels kind of like an arthouse movie at times. And I also think the scenes with the murders are mostly accurate to how it really happened and the black and white makes them feel a bit creepier. Also, the late '60s/early '70s feel of it was interesting, especially seeing as how this was made right after the murders. So I can't say I hated the film completely. I give it a 7/10.
