Polonia Brothers - We Need You!

Ok, my friends and i are starting work on a low-budget horror/comedy and feel we could use the help of two experts. We're gonna set the movie in the world famous 'Corstorphine Woods' - the best woods, ever. I would be honoured... and i mean, erm... honoured... squared! if you, Mark and John Polonia, could find it deep within your awesomely awesome, and let's not forget talented, hearts to fly out to Edinburgh Scotland (it's the film festival right now, so you might aswell) and act in our movie!

I'm afraid we won't be able to pay you or anything like that... and you'll probably have to buy the flight tickets over... and you'll have to pay for the taxi fare to the woods, unless you like walking? Oh, and we might not make the movie because we're quite useless and only have one camera...

Anyway, look forward to hearing from you soon! ...If you fly to Edinburgh just shout the name 'Lewis' really loud. It's not a very big city, i'm sure i'll hear you. Bye Bye!

Hey, anyone agree with me Feeders 1 and 2 are the funniest movies ever made? Oh, and does anyone know if they're SUPPOSED to be funny?

"Oh, and does anyone know if they're SUPPOSED to be funny?"

I don't think comedy is what they were going for.

From the trailer for FEEDERS 2 it looks like they were going for comedy.

Oh, you can shoot a movie with camera and Edinburgh is too big of a city to just shout "Lewis" in...unless maybe you do out a bus window as it drives around. That might give you the coverage you need.

From the interviews and commentary tracks, I take it that all three, the Polonias and McBride, were perfectly aware of Feeders' comedic value and camp appeal, and the sequel certainly was intended to be a deliberately funny movie from the get go, but in the audio commentary for Feeders 1, they make it clear right away that this one was indeed originally conceived as a serious movie.
