did anyone else repeatedly steal from street whores for exp. points?

they were the only ones in the game whom you could steal from and not start a fight if you got caught.
so I just stole/planted stuff on/from them repeatedly for hours at a time just to get more experience points and become more powerful.

I'm wondering if anyone else did this?
