I LOVED this movie!

It's a COMEDY, come on! It's so bad it's good!

It had all of the elements of a typical B-movie slasher film:

- awful acting
- a couple attractive women (not the leads)
- groups of people going into the woods, one separating him or herself from the group and getting killed
- that cheesy, smarmy scary music complete with drums that beat faster and faster the closer and closer you get to getting someone killed (or THINKING someone's going to get killed)
- those aforementioned moments where you think someone's going to get killed but it's just someone jumping out of the darkness or throwing something
- victims pleading for their lives and groaning in pain
- gore
- cops becoming totally useless

I felt like I was watching a brilliant parody!

Does NOT deserve a 2.4 - deserves a 5 or a 6. I gave it a 6 because it's just so darned entertaining!

I know that this is from April, but I completely 100% agree. It is my favorite slasher movie next to Sleepaway Camp and Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and one of my all time favorite movies. Anyone that didn't like it obviously didn't get it. There's so much hilarious parts in it such as the killer pushing the trailer down the hill and it suddenly catching on fire as well as the useless scenes such as the guy in the wheelchair, but it was needed to get the point across that it was a comedy. As far as I'm concerned, the director is a genius. So to all the people that didn't like it, watch it again with an open mind, you pussies.
