This a movie that I feel doesnt get its props for whatever reason. Anyone else put this film in their top ten kung fu movies?

WOW! this was a really really good movie. I just saw it the other day, finally. The story had me all over the place but i eventually got it. I love the fight scenes. And that end scene was a real great way to end it. But the one i saw at the end the student says to master "MASTER!" and his daughter says "FATHER" then it says "THE END" hahaha. If anyone has one that shows anything after that, can you tell me what happens, or if its just another one of those kung fu movies where it ends all randomly like with some HUGE cliff hanger type ish.

I just saw this movie for the first time. I must say I liked it very much. The fighting scenes were excellent, and the story was great. One thing about it: I don't think the training scenes were as good as other ones I have scene.

In responce to Coasta Ricky's comments about the end, In meny movies like this one, the film ends as soon as the main conflict is resolved. We are left to assume that the master retired as planed ect. ect. I didn't think there was much of a cliff hanger.

I liked it. Not top 10 material, but entertaining nonetheless. I especially loved the fight with the corrupt 5th grandmaster. It looked like an inspiration for the "multiple weapon" fight between Michelle Yeoh and Zhang Ziyi in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 23 years later.
