I'm not sure if you can help me...

But I was absolutely in love with a particular episode of this show when I was little. I was born in 80 so I think I was probably 6 or 7 and I rented it MANY times and would watch it over and over. I can't figure out what episode it is...

It was in English and had a fantastic opening song, that was also in English. If I remember correctly, part of it took place on Earth and the episode ended very sadly with a little girl dying and Harlock was trying to save her but failed. Really fuzzy details but I remember the girl being threatened by wolves and she's eventually chased into a church... and then a big explosion (maybe?) and she dies...

Does this sound familiar? I know there are several series that have the Harlock character... any help would be appreciated. For some reason I just really want to see it again.
