Inspired TV Show

I was a volunteer firefighter for twelve years (a small town, but not a big city) I take umbrage at the comment found on the page that said "unrealistic". Whether small town or big city, firefighters are itinerant practical jokers. The show got that right and that kind of thing was seen in Ladder 49-hailed as most realistic firefighter movie ever. Rescue 77 was in the same vein as Emergency-still watched as training films in South America. Rescue 77 showed what it is like in Los Angeles for firefighters, just like Emergency. 77 showed the firefighters using proper safety techniques, just like Emergency. The episode about the newlywed couple trapped in the car is arguably the best hour of drama ever presented on TV. The weird CSI attempt in the last two episodes was very good and based on the real life case of an arson investigator who started fires all over Los Angeles. This show didn't get a fair shake.
