This show is the epitome of buffoonery and stereotypes. I've only watched 1 episode to see what it was about and will never watch the reruns ever again.

tyler perry only makes dumb stereotypical and completely unfunny shows, just like this one. this show doesn't have a single funny joke in it. i get it, the landlord is cheap and his tenants tend to point that out and make him show how cheap he is, unfortunately none of this leads to anything funny....ever

shareI think African-American humor works better here, because when referring to black humor, most will think you're referring to really morbid comedies like 'Very Bad Things' or 'Catch-22'. Of course African-American humor can also be morbid.
