X-files

I've never seen this show, but does this remind anybody else of the episode where Mulder goes into a virtual reality game that went bad. It's only model was this hot chick and people actually died when she shot them. It kept putting them in surreal scenes and crap.

Finally Scully saved Mulder in the end. This just reminds me so much of it. Probably cause it's the same guy who made both of'em.

Yeah it was one of the pretty bad X-files.

I think they mention this show as part of the idea for that episode.

Sorry to reply a few months later...

The X-Files episode (First Person Shooter) was written by William Gibson, the sci-fi writer behind Johnny Mnemonic. Gibson first wrote an episode of TXF in season 5 and was later hired to help Carter to develop the Harsh Realm world. Because he never even had the time to work on Harsh Realm, Gibson wrote a X-Files episode (F.P.S.) in the same year.
