Series 5?
Someone in the comments section of one of their sketches on Youtube says there's a new series due in autumn 2006.
I have a feeling they might be getting mixed up with Mitchell & Webb - but does anyone know any different?

Hat Trick Productions sent out an email yesterday
"We will be recording the 1st series of Armstrong & Miller a brand new sketch show starring Alexander Armstrong and Ben Miller at The BBC Television Centre between February and March 2007."
Ticket details at hattrick dot com.
Since the BBC had formerly announced in a press release that Armstrong & Miller would be shown in the autumn of 2006 I was under the impression that it had already been filmed (especially as details of some sketches were previewed in the Radio Times). Obviously transmission has been delayed and I wonder why.
Is this the first filming or reshoots? Is it a live performance at all, or just a screening of finished material so that the audience laughter can be added?
Filming has not started yet. Filming starts in about 2 weeks time, at a mixture of different locations as well as at the BBC infront of a live audience. check out www.hattrick.co.uk.
shareI had forgotten about the pilot which had already been shot. This must be where the photos and sketch details came from in the Radio Times.
The recordings in Feb and March are definitely live since Hat Trick emailed me back saying so. But since the BBC had announced that Armstrong & Miller would be broadcast in the autumn of 2006, I wonder why filming was delayed?
We have just got back from the recording of the second show in the new BBC series. It is very good, I think funnier than sketches I have seen from the earlier series'. They said that the series is due to be screened Autumn 2007

Just seen a trailer after Ross, it airs next Friday 26th Oct BBC 1 at 9:30pm. Great news so hope they bring back Chuffy, but I'd guess it'll be new material
