similar to The Brown Bunny

Hopefully nobody who hasn't seen The Brown Bunny will care about this topic, therefore I won't be spoiling it for anyone. I was just wondering if someone agreed with me.

Indeed these movies have different storylines, but the main characters are so much alike: they first come across as unhappy and miserable for unknown reasons; then we discover that they were happily in love, but they're no longer with their respective partners. Then they go on a journey, willing to do anything to get their lovers back. Finally, a confrontation with their former lovers, where both main characters break down, but they are told to move on; then the truth comes out: their lovers are dead and they were talking to them in their imagination.
