question!

I was wondering if the scene with Chris is in the head of Charlie
who the hell is he calling in the beginning and at the public phone saying
something like "i miss you, i want to tell you i'm coming home"???

i was confuse by the Chris/Charlie discussion and then the end where we can see that Chris is dying which mean he is dead and by the kiss of the actual Charlie to Chris this means that Charlie can finally let him go.

Guys do you agree?

I guess it's suppose to be Chris in heaven and sort of I see dead people like anyway Charlie is pretty *beep* up cause Chris got killed and he's maybe calling him. I dunno, but you"re right, the end is when he kisses him and he can let go. The film takes awhile to get going cause the story is so short.

Hey - yeah....!

That's kind of misleading, isn't it?

reply

He is calling Chris's answering machine. Chris, of course, is dead. Notice that there isn't any back-and-forth going on....Charlie is doing all the talking.

That being said, one wonders when this actually occurs, like, why would Chris still have an answering machine long after he is dead? The only likely scenario is that Chris and Charlie live together (which is never made explicit, though) and that Chris's voice is still on the answering machine, so Charlie can pretend he is calling Chris.

Canadians ARE smart....
Calvin thats EXACTLY what i deduced... there is a scene when is "talkin" to chris and they explicitly show the answering machine right next to him.
