Favourite Musical Sequence

I loved I'd Rather Charleston and Let's Face The Music And Dance

Très, très sexy, Mr. Branagh!

Plus the cinematographic colour schemes were so plush and bright, everything was saturated by sexual sensations!

Très, très sexy, Mr. Branagh!

I loved his adaptation of Love's Labour's Lost. The soundtrack was energized and electrified. The musical score ranged from pop to jazz to salsa to traditional oldies. The play itself is saturated with rhythm and sexuality, which is why he adapted it the way he did. In the play, the characters rhyme with each other in a sing-song way. Maybe Alicia Silverstone was a poor choice to play a Shakespearean character, but overall, the film was filled with great, fun comedy and catchy, melodic music.

Très, très sexy, Mr. Branagh!

funny you should ask. i've become semi-obsessed with the timothy spall song sequence ("i get a kick out of you"). like, my-family-is-starting-to-worry-about-me, semi-obsessed. he's just so adorable!

although, i will also second the "Très, très sexy, Mr. Branagh!"

full moon is on the sky and he's not a man anymore

"I won't dance" and "Let's face the music and dance". I literally wore out my vhs screener going back and forth between these two numbers, lol

I like most, if not all, of the numbers, but my favorite is probably "I Get A Kick Out Of You." The way Timothy Spall sings it and the visuals accompanying it are just priceless.

Cheek To Cheek, I've Got a Crush On You and They Can't Take That Away From Me.

Perry: "You, stop multiplying!"

I've just watched the film and forgotten which song it was - ! - but it's when the four men realise they are each in love and decide to dispense with their agreement to study and repudiate women.

I liked I've Got a Crush on You as well.

Edit: I forgot Spall's rendition of I Get a Kick Out of You! So funny. I get no kick from cocaine ...

A bird sings and the mountain's silence deepens.

Timothy Spall was hilarious, he stole the film

This is one of those films that the more you watch it, the better it gets, especially if you're a fan of the Golden Age of Hollywood
