There are so many Turkish movies and especially TV shows that are exact replica of American TV shows and movies. I actually think I can make a living out of tipping off American film companies and distributors about this. There is a Turkish version of Golden Girls, Cosby Show, there was Turkish version of 3rd Rock From The Sun. I was there in Turkey this summer and came across a TV commercial for a cell phone company which was using Don't Worry Be Happy (by Bobby McFerrin) and they had changed the lyrics to idiotic lines about using cell phone. I could go on and on and on... I know Turkish fans will get mad at me for saying this because there are millions of people hooked on Turkish TV shows which are absolute crap.
