POLL: Boiler Room or The Wolf of Wall Street?

For me hands down it's Boiler Room

The only thing I liked about The Wolf of Wall Street was the Quaalude and the Lamborghini scene....that's it.

Boiler Room just has a cool factor about it that I like, The Wolf of Wall Street after a while just becomes sad and annoying.

What's your favorite?

Without a doubt, Boiler Room.

The Lamborghini scene was great, but I much prefer Boiler Room. I think Boiler Room does a better job of explaining how boiler rooms work while keeping an exciting pace throughout. Plus purchasing it does not benefit a con-artist.

As a 'Wall Street' movie, definitely Boiler Room. Even though there were entertaining and comedic scenes in The Wolf of Wall Street, it completely glossed over the explanation of the actual financial crimes being committed and their impact on the victims, both of which Boiler Room shows in more detail. Multiple times in Wolf, Dicaprio's Jordan Belfort begins to explain the mechanism of the pump and dump but then cuts himself off as if to say to the audience, "You're not interested in this are you? Here's more hookers and cocaine." But I really was interested! :)

It's always going to be Boiler Room for me. It just went more in-depth about the actual financial crimes that were committed, and it had a hip cast.

The Wolf of Wall Street mainly showcased how Jordan Belfort and his crew enjoyed the wealth they made from their financial crimes.

Memphis Raines: I'm a little tired, a little wired, and I think I deserve a little appreciation!

Boiler Room. Wolf was too long and all of the characters were despicable douchebags. And the movie's nearly 3 hour long run time seriously limits its rewatchability factor.
