I like the teams Imagine how it would have been...

I love this show to death but just imagine how it would have been if rights didn't mess up the cast.

We all know it should have been Dastardly and Muttley leading the Rottens. Mumbly was a replacement (who was a good guy in his own series) and Dread Baron was made to duplicate Dick. Plus if we had gotten them Klunk and Zilly could have been used too.

Josie and the Pussycats should have been members of the Scoobies too, but we know they got removed and were replaced by the new creations of the Teenangels.

Plus notice Daisey Mayhem and Sooey Pig acted in pretty much the same manor Alexandra and Sebastion would have been.

Jeanie was supposed to be on the Scoobies too so they only kept Babu.

Plus always wondered where Fondoo came from. It makes sense he was probably made to be a conterpart for the other duos on the other teams like (Yogi/Boo Boo Auggie/Daddy Pixie/Dixie Scooby/Shaggy Dynomutt/Falcon) considering none of the Scooby villains were that great as repeat characters and IMO none of the Blue Falcon villains were memorable.

To me the big questions of absenses were these:
Fibber Fox: You had Yakky on the team, why not add Fibber to the Rottens?
Spot: You had HKP and we all know he's funny but Spot should have been his partner and helped him win some more events plus i do think HKP was the leasr used character

HKP was criminally under-used, especially compared to who was by FAR THE most over-used character in this show, Scooby Doo. Scooby Doo & the rest of the Scooby gang (not to be confused with the Scooby team) have had so many TV series that it takes recycling to new extremes, especially when the only really likable character in any of them (by a landslide) is Shaggy.

I wonder if Scatman wasn't as always as available as the rest of the cast? Since in at least one he doesn't have any lines besides his basic "kung fu" sound effects when pitching a baseball.

Which i wonder why he couldn't have Spot there, since his sound effects were just done by Messick. They could have had the two paired up on events with Phooey sound effects and Messick covering. But i guess it was just the way it went.

However was anyone else irked the Yogi Yahooeys got 16 team members and the Rottens and Scoobies only had 13 each.

Gamefaqs has a far worse population than IMDB

Interestingly someone dug up an old ad, which appears that at one point before Jeannie's removal, Hong Kong Phooey and Spot were to be the referees or i asusme the off-screen "judges" often refenced.

Based on the fact that opening counting Jeannie, i'm guessing they added HKP to the Scoobies before Jeannie was dropped.

Loopy deloop should have been on the Yogis. He was from that era. Why was Grape Ape on the team? He was a 70s character who should have been on the Scoobys. Also I know that he made appearances but Jabber Jaw and Clam head should have been on the Scoobys. They were a scooby type cartoon.
