what was the name of the theme song and who sang it

The song is called "Too Bad" and is by Canadian band "Doug and the Slugs."

"Too Bad" appears in much different form on "Cognac and Bologna," Doug and the Slugs' 1980 album. That band should have been huge, or at least less than obscure.
