This movie is deep

Key symbolism are the trains and time-travel like Kar Wai Wong's 2046. The script is like a montage of real found material by someone rummaging through the past and future.

Beautifully put.

Uhh... I don' think it's "deep" at all. A movie where characters say things like "Americans have no past" and (dishonest) things like "Mrs. Schindler was never paid" is NOT deep: it's just shallow and full of lies.

"What I don't understand is how we're going to stay alive this winter."

Americans... what Americans? South-Americans?

Well, technically, America is a much younger country than most countries in Europe. Yes, many countries in Europe gained their independence around 1849 but they were a nation way before that. And from a point of view, at this point the United States are a huge amalgam of nationalities, while in my honest opinion the states may be a country, but they are not really a NATION; they haven't fully developed an identity of their own.

You are fully allowed to disagree with me, and I do not intend any disrespect, but it's what I think.
