So many stupid moments in this movie kill it...

I'm 37 minutes in and boy is this terrible already -

1. T-X having an orgasm from tasting John Connor's blood - no, just no.

2. John Connor getting manhandled by Claire Danes and shoved into a cage - it was forgivable in T2 that he was a whiny little brat 'cos he was a kid, but at some point you've got to show him becoming this supposed messianic war general. Awful actor choice too.

3. Arnold's Terminator - so many goofy moments like 'talk to the hand' and pausing for 3 seconds when John Connor asks him if he's here to kill him. As if a machine would pause for dramatic effect like that.

I'll add more as I continue watching (if I continue watching) but it's as bad as I remember so far.

Like many sequels, fan service is a big part of the movie. The goofy moments were overdone, though.

Haha I do agree with most of these points.

1. Can't argue that...she might as well have been in a porn video

2. I actually thought Nick Stahl did okay but he's definitely not a memorable character but I give him props.

3. Yeah the Terminator says it is time...like it will say that before blasting him away...but agreed the dramatic pause was laughable even when I saw it in theaters I remember laughing and rolling my eyes.

I think the TX having it's own weapons was ridiculous like it was a transformer/inspector gadget robot. And it only uses the weaponry like in two scenes, I also like how it scrolls through it's list for us to see like it's suppose to be cool but doesn't even actually show them being used.

Oh and how the TX can control cars, just cause she was able to power the computer chips in the vehicle doesn't mean it could operate the pedals, and steering wheel. Maybe in cars today sure, but back then the CPU in cars was more simplistic for sensors and junk so yeah not happening. The pedals, gear shifter, steering wheel were all mechanical and the CPUs had no control over them, it mainly reads data in the engines, and controlls sensors. Oh well it's Hollywood.

I like this movie for the action scenes mostly. Yeah. I agree about all that stuff. And then there's all these T2 haters who insist that the Terminator saying, No problemo, chillout, Dickwad, and Hasta La Vista, Baby is sillier than him saying talk to the hand. Whatever.

Yea this was bad. Much worse than I remember in theaters after watching it again on my 75 inch TV. The T-X wasn't special except for how foxy she was in my opinion. The T-1000 was overall a more interesting machine with more complex abilities. I think the majority can agree on that.

Tend to disagree slightly with this one as he had previously just woken up from a drug overdose after taking animal painkillers so was still drowsy and easier to manhandle more then he would of been if fully alert.

The standout fail moments for me are the Elton John sunglasses,
and , as mentioned , the remote controlling of the vehicles.

I like the film though , especially the ending - bit of a twist
Also you get to see the actual moment the machines turn on us

This movie reminds me a lot of the Star Wars prequels: I told myself I liked it for years, but stopped pretending. Like you said, fucking goofy and just plain stupid.

In retrospect, even though nothing past T2 counts, Salvation is the best one of the bunch that don't matter.
