After the triple crap-heap of Damnation, Syphilis, and Crap-Fate, Rise of the Machines actually managed to look like a respectable sequel to T2.
Kind of like how the Disney Star Wars movies make the prequels look good.
ummm no Dark Fate is the proper Threequel Machines is alternate Timeline
also the sequels are as much Star Wars why they are part of the Skywalker Saga are much better than the Prequels still

at least they had the balls to end it on a sour note.
This movie still has the best vehicle chase sequence of the series. Although I still really like the raw energy of the chase in the original Terminator.

When T3 came out, I considered it a silly crappy rehash of T2, with some ok action and a great surprise ending.
I thought "now they should make a Future Shock movie".
When I learned some time later that Mcg was directing such T4, I knew things were going downhill...
This movie came out when audiences were used to amazing event movies like the Lord of the Rings or Gladiator and after a great decade for action cinema and cinema in general aka the 90s when T2 came out...We were spoiled.This movie is decent and very underrated not the best possible sequel of course since Cameron distanced himself for some reason(creative dead end perhaps).T3 should have been made in 1995 or 1997 but Cameron had to do Titanic and the premise was T1 Arnie vs T2 Arnie (the half ass battle we got in the horrible Genesys😫 after 20 years).I never liked the idea of a female AntiTerminator terminator aka T-X but Kristanna Loken was good and she looks like Arnie's daughter and she tried her best immitating Robert Patrick in T2.I can live with the cringy humour and I think some scenes are genuinely funny(She's a healthy female of a breeding age,RELAX!T-X's inflatable Boobs at the beginning etc.) I hate the strip club scene it's terrible, a total cringefest not funny at all like a parody.Just like the talk to the hand scene they should have been cut like the Sergeant Candy scene.
The ending is epic,the action is great,the CGI still holds up.Arnie was still vibrant and in great shape... T3 is the best Sequel of the franchise. It's closer to 7.5/10 ,Salvation 7/10 ,Genesys 5/10 and Woke Fate is 4.5/10 for me...
