What a missed opportunity this movie had...

The writers should be fired for their incompetence. It would have made so much more sense if when the terminator was re-programmed to go after John Connor near the end of the movie that he was exactly like he was in the first Terminator movie. Just a full on killer taking anything out that got in his way of trying to kill John Connor. Not a half assed terminator struggling the good and bad inside him or whatever you want to call it. Such a dumb Hollywood BS idea they had for a terrible movie.

It's quite obvious this movie has way too many problems but this one should have been a no-brainer to fix.

I would rather have T3 be a prequel to the first movie so that it gives a circular nature to the series when rewatching it.

Yeah, that's what I always thought that they would do. I would have liked to have seen the future war over anything that we got in the subsequent sequels. I would have liked for the future war movie to end with Kyle Reese, and the original Terminator being sent back in time. Another future movie could have been made about how they sent the reprogrammed terminator back in time, and how the T-1000 followed it. Eventually they did, but it was terrible. Then a third future war movie could have been made about the final destruction of Skynet. The third future war movie could have been the end of the franchise.

As for this movie. It has some good ideas, great visuals (in places), and is enjoyable for what it is, but it isn't a great movie by any stretch. Still, it's a lot better than any of the films that came after it.

If there was gonna be another film after T2 it have to be evil T-800 again or a future war movie but they had to drag the whole good guy T-800 vs evil liquid metal Terminator through the dirt.

Besides that T3 is just something made that was pointless.
