HI! I am a very big Spenser fan. I loved this movie! The leads were wonderfully
casted and I loved the way that they followed the book. My only complaint is -
why don't they make more? My fave Spenser book is Sudden Mischief. Potshot would
be a great one, too. I really think that A&E or whoever should get on with it
already and make more. There are lots of Spenser fans out there who would love it.

He's a very good actor but he's no Spenser in spite of "Dr." Parker's comments. Parker is a sellout...milking Spenser all the way to the bank. A&E wants Mantegna as Spenser? Sure says Parker even though Mantegna is clearly at least two inches shorter and 30 pounds lighter than the Spenser we know from the novels.

Robert Urich is Spenser he pulled it off Joe is a good actor but not a street tough former boxer turned PI

Parker is a sellout...milking Spenser all the way to the bank.

I know this is old, but....

Parker was a writer. He earned a living writing. "Milking" his characters all the way to the bank is what put food in the mouths of his family and a roof over their heads.

I don't trust people who don't like pets and I don't trust people who pets don't like.

I would like to see more Spenser movies too. I have tried to find this on DVD, but so far, no luck.
