Solomon's Parents and Gaenor

It's sad how Solomon's parents keep telling Gaenor (when she visits them after the riots and Solomon is sent away) that they wish her the best and that's they're happy he met an honest girl. But they won't tell her where he is and they don't want Solomon to be with her. They tell her the baby is a mistake and that she should just move on. It's really sad - I mean, she is a nice, kind, loving person. Solomon's family is wonderful compared to Gaenor's family. She would have made a great daughter-in-law I think.
