90% Cut in Pay

So apparently when Frank lost his job at the pea soup factory, he had to work as a zookeeper and take a 90% cut in his pay. I looked it up and the average yearly income for a zookeeper is about 30k. I'm not entirely clear on the math, but clearly that soup factory was paying him a freakin' ton.
