It's got a lot of good stuff in there, but yeah it stretches out endlessly to its conclusion. Something about it makes it seem even longer. Some stories demand this kind of length, but this one didn't need too.

20, maybe 30 minutes of it should have been cut; parts of the third act to some extent do feel unnecessary. It is a staggeringly good film nevertheless, and far from boring.
You want something corny? You got it!
I like 90 minute movies myself. So I could have done with less running time. Spielberg never disappoints. It made a change for me watching a futuristic noir mystery. And the breathtaking visuals were great.
