This is crap of the HIGHEST order!!

Wowsers! I rented this turkey out of curiosity, as the cover looked sort intriguing.

Yikes this was a whole, completely uncharted calibur, of BAD movie for me. Never have i seen anything this bad. "The Item" makes Uwe Boll flicks look like total masterpieces.

Uggghhhh!!!

Although i haven't seen it yet but I get the feeling that this movie would be crap as well but I heard from somebody that this is one of the best horror films that nobody has ever seen. Has anybody else heard this statement about "The Item"?

Best in the sense that if you have "that" kind of humor it comes off as hilarious. Ive seen it 2.5 times and someday I plan on owning it. This is my #1 so-bad-its-hilarious film!

It is *NOT* a horror movie. Its tough to describe, its not a horror, its not a comedy, its not a parody...its just pure trash existing for its own sake. Only watch this movie if you want to torture yourself. It is easily the WORST movie i've ever seen, and i'd bet it would rank up pretty high on your list too.

Yes, I purchased it on the same recommendation. Well, not the same, but similar. That it's one of the weirdest films ever made. 3 Stars on the Allmovie guide, too.

I totally agree... It's not even bad like "Oh that was kinda corny...", it's bad like "WTF is going on right now?" bad.... One key ingredient that makes the movie??? POT. Stoned, this movie will make you laugh and could be the best hour and a half of your life... Def worth a rent, then take it back to Blockbuster and demand a free rental... If they've seen it, they won't argue, they may give you another free rental for the heartache you suffered...
