Anyone Else Get Suckered In By The Cover?

I was at Blockbuster one night a couple of years ago looking for a movie, and I saw the cover to a movie. It had a green eye looking at you from inside a cage. Instantly knowing that this was a monster movie I picked it up.(regreted that decision for the rest of my life) I read the back of the case, and I thought, hey this sounds like it might not be a complete waste of time. How wrong I was. How wrong indeed. Like an idiot, I actually watched the whole thing. No fastforwarding, nothing. I HATED THIS MOVIE! THIS IS THE WORST MOVIE EVER MADE! When the guy was running even looked fake. The monster was a pink tube that didnt have eyes, and seriously, who has kids that say their obese dad is going to eat them? DONT GET THIS MOVIE!

Everybody gets suckered in by the cover art. This the lamest excuse for artsy-farsty galleria filmmaking i'v ever seen. I only paid a dollar for the VHS copy, and I have never felt so cheated and violated.

I'm ashamed to say that I did as well.

Did anyone feel like a 30 cent hooker when they brought the DVD back to Blockbuster. I sure did, I even checked to make sure noone saw me put it in the overnight drop box.

And I used the overnight drop box even though I was going into the store to rent more movies. I just didn't want to bring it to the counter to return it.

I was expecting some sort of freaky monster that would kill everyone and not a dick in a box.

hahahaha I remember watching it when I was about 10 or 11, back then my parents used to bring me to blockbuster every weekend and I'd rent a couple of movies. I used to always rent horror movies, I probably rented every one of them in that particular blockbuster. I remember the cover catching my eye, and after watching it at home, I remember feeling so disgusted haha. the movie may have been *beep* but it brings back memories. I'm 20 now, and about a year ago I remembered this movie, the only problem was I forgot the name. just today I found out the title, so here goes my journey to find this on DVD :)

im a person that dont mind the so bad their good movies. i know this was crap once it started. well really i was told it was crap before hand but i was ok with that. ill admit that the cover did trick me. i was expecting something with the same eye as on the cover. then again once i saw the body of it i kind of knew it wasnt probably going to be anything like that. but whats really funny is that my friends that showed me this movie got it out of somebodys trash.

My girlfriend was working in a videoclub and she brought home some promotional VHS
including this one. One night I was alone and bored and decided to watch it even
if the cover did not appeals me and then I got surprised by the movie.
But sincerely I felt cheated by the cover and i taught it was not respecting
the movie at all and in fact, to me, it was not helping the move AT ALL !!!
One of those B-serie movie that I respect for what it is. This is original, full of interesting character and mostly a mind blowing talking dick! This is pervert!

Cover fooled me as well, one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The creature was a joke when you finally saw it out of the box...
