Depressing!
I thought Happy Christmas Miss King was very sad. I wanted to see Avonlea in the glory of the series, but this movie was not all that happy. Janet is depressed the whole movie. I was disapointed.
shareThey needed a storyline that was fresh, was historical, and utilized the actors who were free to film it.
I know Hetty had had health issues before (Memento Mori) but the movie WAS the first time we saw them at Christmas. Which is kind of odd considering the series ran 7 years.
While I think much more could havebeen done, I liked it.
